News : CTCF organized an Interaction program with Province level stakeholders to explore the assistant tea technician

Province level interaction program held in Biratnagar was chaired by chairperson of CTCF, Nepal Mr. Harka Tamang. Mr. Jhalak Singh Darlami Magar, Agriculture Ministry of Province,1, was the chief guest of interaction program where Mr. Megh Nath Timisina, Secretary of Agriculture Ministry of Province,1, Mr. Madhab Pokhrel, Secretary of Industry, labor and Employment of Province 1, Mr. Dr. Gyanendra Bahadhur Karki, Member of Planning Commission of Province 1 were the guests of the program. Similarly, representative of National Tea and Coffee Development Board Mr Suman Tikhatri, representative of food technology and quality control Raj Kumar Rijal, CTEVT Provice Director Siwa Prasad Dahal, registrar of Province Registrar and Cooperative Training Center Hari Bahadur Khatri, Vice Chariperson of National Cooperative Federation Ramesh Pokharel, industrialist Ram Kumar Rathi (RAKURA) were attended as guests in program. Mr. Rabin Rai, Team Leader of Skill Development for Quality Tea Production project, has presented PowerPoint presentation covering all the project activities including lesson learnt and challenged face during implementation of the program.  Mr. Rai Team Leader highlighted scope of Assistant Tea Technician generated through Skill Development for Quality Tea Production project. Mr. Rai presented the data of employment after getting Assistant Tea Technician training. Similarly, Mr. Rai presented that organization like National tea and coffee Development board has given opportunity to newly training graduates. Mr. Rai said quality will be improved in tea sector of Nepal after implementing Skill Development for Quality Tea Production Project. "Different tea processing factories started hiring to training graduates as an employee is also a positive aspects of the project" Mr. Rai said.
