The Central Tea Cooperative Federation Nepal (CTCF Nepal) recently concluded a two-day strategic planning workshop to outline its roadmap for 2025-2028. The workshop brought together the Board of Directors, representatives from member cooperatives, and staff members to establish key priorities for the future.
With the vision of a sustainable tea cooperative and prosperous farmers, CTCF Nepal has set its mission to advocate for favorable policies and strengthen its member tea cooperatives by providing direct support services, capacity development, and market facilitation. The organization also aims to help member cooperatives run professional enterprises and promote climate-resilient tea farming in Nepal.
The workshop outlined key priorities for the future, focusing on five core areas: institutional development, advocacy and lobbying, quality tea production, processing and cooperative enterprise development, market facilitation, and the sustainability of CTCF Nepal and its members.
Workshop participants engaged in interactive discussions, group activities, and strategic planning sessions, culminating in the development of a four-year action plan that will guide CTCF Nepal’s growth and impact.
